Friends of Everest Basketball Booster Club is dedicated to providing financial support beyond the realm of the school’s budget to the D.C. Everest High School Boys Basketball Program, including the Varsity, Junior Varsity, JV2, and JV3 teams, as well as our youth program from 3rd to 8th grade. 

We are a 501(c)(3) entity that provides support to the basketball team and the overall program, primarily through fundraising and volunteering. We help cover expenses for items including, but not limited to, travel, meals, uniforms, busses, equipment, gym rentals, tournament fees, and training camps. 

Our Board of Directors and youth coaching staff are a volunteer program that contribute their time and effort to the needs of the program. We aim to promote enthusiasm, pride, and positive support for the program within the school district and the wider community.

The primary objective of the Friends of Everest Basketball (FOEB) Booster Club is to provide support to the D.C. Everest High School Boys Basketball Program, including the Varsity, Junior Varsity, JV2, and JV3 teams.

The Booster Club recognizes the importance of a strong, unified basketball program across all levels. To that end, FOEB shall govern, oversee, and financially support the Everest Youth Boys Basketball (EYBB) association.

The mission of EYBB is to provide young athletes with a positive basketball experience against quality competition matched to their age and abilities, stressing fundamental team and individual skills and sportsmanship.

The Booster Club will strive to:

1.  Promote fan support, spirit, sportsmanship, and team unity across all levels.

2.  Enhance the experience of student-athletes by funding benefits beyond the D.C. Everest School District’s budget.

3.  Support initiatives that contribute to the development, alignment, and sustainability of the basketball program from youth through high school, including, but not limited to, camps, clinics, mentoring opportunities, and collaboration with the EYBB program.

The Friends of Everest Boys Basketball Booster Club typically meets monthly on the third Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in Room 3 of the Greenheck Turner Community Center.

Parents, guardians and community supporters who share in the Booster Club’s mission are encouraged to attend. Meetings follow a set agenda to keep discussions focused and efficient. While all attendees are invited to listen and provide feedback on agenda items, only elected board members may make motions and vote on official Booster Club business.
